The causes of smoke emission from vacuum pumps and the corresponding solutions are as follows:

Causes:
1.Oil mist filter issues: A clogged or improperly installed filter prevents the effective capture and discharge of oil mist.

2.One-way oil return valve or float valve issues: Foreign matter inside the valve prevents the one-way valve from closing during pump exhaust, resulting in the emission of white mist.
3.Damaged heating element: The top lid was not properly closed during operation, causing the heating element to burn out.

4.Poor pump oil condition: The pump oil has deteriorated or become contaminated, losing its lubricating properties.
5.Gas ballast valve not closed: The gas ballast valve is left open or not tightly sealed, allowing a large amount of external air to rush in.

6.Poor vacuum pump sealing: There are leaks in the pump body, piping, or connections.

Solution:

Inspect and replace the oil mist filter, ensuring it is installed correctly.

Replace the pump oil with oil that meets specifications and clean the pump chamber.

Close the gas ballast valve and check its seal.

Perform a thorough leak check on the vacuum pump and repair any leaks.
