Will this fit my housing without modification?
What is the difference between absolute (beta rated) and nominal micron rating?

A nominal rating captures roughly 50–90% of particles at the stated size — and varies between manufacturers. An absolute rating means 99.5%+ capture efficiency, verified by ISO 16889 multi-pass testing of the media. This filter is 10 Micron; B9.9 = 200, B12.4 = 1000.

Is the filtration performance the same as OEM filters?

SONA's 10 Micron; B9.9 = 200, B12.4 = 1000 microglass media is tested to ISO 16889 with a Beta ratio of BX = 1000, equivalent in both efficiency and dirt-holding capacity.

How often should I change my filter element?

Change the Parker 934180Q element when differential pressure reaches 25 PSID, or at your OEM service interval — typically every 500–2,000 operating hours depending on system load and contamination levels. Do not wait until the bypass valve activates.

What hydraulic fluids is this filter compatible with?

Compatible with petroleum-based hydraulic oils, HH, HL, HM, or HV fluids, and most synthetic lubricants. The Viton seal provides broad chemical compatibility. Confirm with your fluid supplier for non-standard applications. It is not compatible with Skydrol.
